Our circles are usually held at 7–9PM NZT. Join a group of 12–25 men. Show up with your camera on, exactly as you are.
Our circle agreements — the simple tools that keep it safe and real.
Read the agreementsA quiet space where you won't be disturbed, good wifi, and leave your phone/other distractions at the door.
Koha. We aim to make this space accessible, so our invitation is to give what you can. All money received supports the proliferation of the BROS kaupapa.
A few simple agreements keep the circle safe, honest, and real. We name them together at the start, every time.
Be fully present — here and now. Take a deep breath and let go of the day, your to-do list, and any expectations. This is a space for you.
Speak from "I." Own your experience. None of this "you know when you get angry at your wife..." nonsense — just your experience.
Confidentiality. What’s shared here stays here. This is a private container, keep it that way.
Respect the time. Start and finish strong. Honour your brothers by being on time.
Listen like you are hearing something for the very first time. Acknowledge a man after he shares — "kia ora." Use gestures to show you understand.
We are not here to fix you, to save you, or to do emotional surgery. We’re here to listen & support.
This is a sacred space. Speak and listen with care. Your words hold weight and power, choose carefully.
Sometimes all men need is just to be heard. This is a space for brothers to be real. Bring whatever is alive for you, and you may be surprised what resonates with another man.
BROS Circles are a place where you remember, maybe for the first time in years, that you're not the only one who feels this way.
More men around more fires.
This is the core mission of BROS Aotearoa — our guiding principle for the work we do.
